A Note on the Polynomial Ergodicity of the One-Dimensional Zig-Zag process

Abstract: We prove polynomial ergodicity for the one-dimensional Zig-Zag process on heavy tailed targets and identify the exact order of polynomial convergence of the process when targeting Student distributions.
