Holographic complexity of Born-Infeld gravity

Abstract: We investigate the duality conjecture "Complexity=Action" (CA) for Born-Infeld (BI) gravity model and derive the growth rate of its action within the Wheeler-DeWitt (WDW) patch, which is believed to be dual to the growth rate of quantum complexity of holographic boundary state. In order to find the correct on-shell action, we use direct variational procedure to find proper boundary and corner terms. We find out that the late-time behavior of holographic complexity is the well-known two times of energy, as expected.
