Accessibility of websites for visually impaired persons (1912.03125v1)
Published 8 Nov 2019 in cs.HC
Abstract: Accessibility of websites for visually impaired persons is mishandled by screen readers which are not always adapted to interactivity needed by actual web/multimedia technologies. This paper analyses the difficulties to access to information with the use of different technologies and the existing recommendations for the conception of accessible websites for all. Preliminary results with visually impaired persons on our ACCESSPACE project website are presented.
