Generalized Unitarity Relation for Linear Scattering Systems in One Dimension

Abstract: We derive a generalized unitarity relation for an arbitrary linear scattering system that may violate unitarity, time-reversal invariance, PT{\cal PT}-symmetry, and transmission reciprocity.
