Measurements of charm rare decays at LHCb

Abstract: Following the intriguing hints of deviations from the Standard Model in rare B meson decays, searches for rare and forbidden decays of charm hadrons become a hot topic again. We present recent results on Flavour Changing Neutral Current D<sup>0→μ<sup>+</sup></sup>μ<sup>−D<sup>{0}\rightarrow\mu<sup>+</sup></sup> \mu<sup>-, D<sup>0</sup>→μ<sup>+μ<sup>−</sup></sup>π<sup>+</sup>π<sup>−D<sup>0</sup> \rightarrow\mu<sup>+\mu<sup>-</sup></sup> \pi<sup>+</sup> \pi<sup>-, D<sup>±(s)→</sup>π<sup>±</sup>μ<sup>+μ<sup>−D<sup>{\pm}_{(s)}\rightarrow</sup> \pi<sup>{\pm}</sup> \mu<sup>+\mu<sup>- and LFV D<sup>±(s)→</sup>π<sup>∓μ<sup>±μ<sup>±D<sup>{\pm}_{(s)}\rightarrow</sup> \pi<sup>{\mp}\mu<sup>{\pm}\mu<sup>{\pm} obtained at LHCb.
