Carter Constant and Angular Momentum

Abstract: We investigate the carter like constant for a particle in a non relativistic dipolar field. This special case is a missing link between carter constant in stationary axially symmetric spacetime such as Kerr solution and its possible Newtonian counterpart. We use this system to carry over the definition of angular momentum from Newtonian mechanics to relativistic stationary axially symmetric stationary spacetime.
