Affine Grassmannians and Geometric Satake Equivalences

Abstract: I extend the ramified geometric Satake equivalence of Zhu from tamely ramified groups to include the case of general connected reductive groups. As a prerequisite I prove basic results on the geometry of affine flag varieties.
