Some new characterizations of PSTPST-groups

Published 30 Apr 2013 in math.GR | (1304.7902v1)

Abstract: Let HH and BB be subgroups of a finite group GG such that G=NG(H)BG=N_{G}(H)B. Then we say that HH is \emph{quasipermutable} (respectively \emph{SS-quasipermutable}) in GG provided HH permutes with BB and with every subgroup (respectively with every Sylow subgroup) AA of BB such that (∣H∣,∣A∣)=1(|H|, |A|)=1. In this paper we analyze the influence of SS-quasipermutable and quasipermutable subgroups on the structure of GG. As an application, we give new characterizations of soluble PSTPST-groups.
