Verify generalization across synthesis paradigms

Determine whether the proposed joint distribution flow matching approach for synthesizer inversion generalizes to synthesis paradigms beyond those evaluated with Surge XT and Dexed.

Background

The experiments evaluate the approach on two software synthesizers: Surge XT, a hybrid subtractive/wavetable synthesizer, and Dexed, a frequency-modulation synthesizer. The paper suggests that the method should generalize to other synthesis paradigms, but no empirical evaluation of that claim is provided.

The unresolved issue is therefore whether the observed off-manifold robustness and inversion improvements persist for additional synthesis paradigms not represented by the two experimental synthesizers.

References

While we expect our method to generalise to other synthesis paradigms, we have not empirically verified this.
