Type bounds in monadically dependent classes

Determine whether the almost-linear type-counting bound for formulas on monadically stable classes extends to monadically dependent classes.

Background

The paper notes that monadically stable classes satisfy strong bounds on the number of realized types over finite parameter sets and reports a further conjecture that an analogous result should hold for monadically dependent classes. Only special cases, such as bounded-twinwidth classes, are known.

References

They also conjecture that \Cref{thm:vc-density-ms} generalizes to monadicallly dependent classes.
