Establish the general validity of the accessible-state counting formula

Establish whether the interpolation formula for the number of accessible pairs (H_K,H_{i\phi}) in the generalized BaxterWu model remains valid for system sizes beyond L=18.

Background

The WangLandau calculation is performed in the two-dimensional parameter space of the integer-valued quantities H_K and H_{i\phi}. The authors derive an interpolation formula N(L) for the number of accessible pairs using data for six lattice sizes, L=3,6,9,12,15,18. The formula exactly reproduces those six values, but its extension to larger systems has not been established.

References

It exactly interpolates these six determined values, although its validity as a general counting formula beyond L=18 has not yet been established.
