Background

The paper evaluates ten component variations of the FastSched pipeline across eight circuits and four random seeds. Candidate re-evaluation, larger candidate shortlists, and importance-sampled training feedback show measurable benefits, but the remaining seven component effects are not resolved by the reported seed-bootstrap and measurement analyses. Establishing whether these components materially affect schedule quality would require further controlled experiments with greater statistical power or additional search seeds.
