Resolve algebraic identifiability of the flow-induced crystallization closure

Determine which algebraic representation of the flow-induced crystallization rate is supported by evidence beyond the sampled operating conditions, particularly among the current candidate and near-equivalent alternative forms.

Background

For the flow-induced crystallization task, the SCOPE report identifies several robust qualitative properties, including a bounded temperature window, shear promotion, and competition between nucleation growth and depletion of unconverted material. However, multiple candidate equations produce nearly identical predictions on the available observations.

The report explicitly states that the candidate’s specific approximate form is not uniquely determined and recommends acquiring conditions where the candidate and runner-up diverge, including low-temperature/low-shear/high-crystallinity and high-temperature/high-shear/moderate-crystallinity regimes. These experiments would test the temperature-window, shear, and high-crystallinity behavior that remains unconstrained.

The candidate's specific approximate form is still not uniquely determined.
