Resolve the number of emission components in Regions 2 and 3

Determine whether the ESPaDOnS spectra of Regions 2 and 3 in the filamentary nebula surrounding NGC 1275 contain additional unresolved emission components or instead represent genuinely single, broad emission components, using observations with sufficient signal-to-noise.

Background

The ESPaDOnS spectra of Regions 2 and 3 were fit with single emission components, but these pointings have substantially lower signal-to-noise than Region 1. Consequently, the existing observations cannot distinguish between a genuinely single broad component and multiple components that remain unresolved because of insufficient data quality. Higher-quality spectroscopy is therefore required to establish the kinematic structure of these regions.

The current spectral observations prevents us from singling out one scenario over the other.
