Identify the origin of the localized velocity residual near 50 au

Identify whether the localized positive CO velocity residual near 50 au in J16120 is produced by the proposed 32-au planet candidate or by another disc-kinematic or geometrical mechanism.

Background

The authors model the velocity residuals using both a Keplerian disc and a warped-disc model. The warped model reproduces many large-scale residuals but fails to reproduce a localized positive residual near 50 au, close to the orbit of the proposed inner planet. Because the residual lies near other candidate planetary tracers, a planetary origin is plausible but not demonstrated.
