Background

The main analysis assumes that the tidal perturber is stationary during a resonance. Relaxing this approximation introduces the perturber's azimuthal frequency and an additional harmonic index, potentially producing two resonances for one set of harmonic labels. The forcing becomes more complicated and requires tracking the perturber's phase; the paper states that this issue remains under investigation rather than resolving it.
