Measure the magnetic properties of TiNiSi-type ZrFeGe

Measure the magnetic properties of TiNiSi-type ZrFeGe to determine whether its experimentally synthesized phase exhibits the predicted ferromagnetic ground state.

Background

ZrFeGe is identified computationally as a TiNiSi-type ferromagnet with a predicted stable structure and a substantial magnetic moment. Although the compound has been synthesized in the predicted TiNiSi-type structure, its magnetic behavior has not yet been experimentally characterized. Consequently, experimental measurements are needed to test the predicted ferromagnetism and magnetic moment of this material.

ZrFeGe has also been synthesized in the predicted TiNiSi-type structure⁵⁸, but its magnetic properties have not yet been measured.
