High-density triplet neutron pairing

Determine whether the coupled $^3P_2$--$^3F_2$ neutron condensate survives strong medium suppression at neutron-star core densities and identify which magnetic substate or mixture of substates is realized.

Background

The review identifies high-density neutron triplet pairing as the least certain standard nucleonic pairing channel. Uncertainties arise from poorly constrained high-momentum nucleon–nucleon interactions, medium suppression, and near-degeneracy among competing order-parameter phases.
