Extension to coherent-state implementations

Extend the quantum gate lower bounds and loss-tolerant security analysis for f-BB84 position verification from qubit systems to coherent-state implementations.

Background

The paper's results are formulated for qubit systems, motivated by current experimental implementations. Coherent-state implementations are experimentally relevant but introduce additional technical complications absent from the qubit analysis. The authors explicitly defer this extension to future work.

References

While we work in the context of qubit systems, with experimental applications in mind it would be natural to extend our results to the context of coherent states. This introduces new complications, and we leave this to future work.
