Exact rotating EMDA solution and stationary cosmic-censorship analysis

Construct an exact rotating Einstein–Maxwell–dilaton–axion (EMDA) black-hole solution and perform the full Sorce–Wald analysis to complete the stationary case.

Background

The paper analyzes weak cosmic censorship for static charged Gibbons–Maeda–Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger black holes in Einstein–Maxwell–dilaton theory and extends the Sorce–Wald variational calculation through third order. It notes that a slowly rotating EMDA analysis exists, but an exact rotating EMDA solution together with a complete higher-order censorship analysis is not supplied. The proposed problem would therefore extend the stationary treatment from static configurations to the fully rotating case.

Several open directions remain. First, constructing an exact rotating EMDA solution and performing the full Sorce--Wald analysis would complete the stationary case.
