Establish the legibility limit of the intent graph

Determine at what scale the intent graph ceases to remain legible to a human as the dataset schema and knowledge graph become richer and the number of derivable analytical claims grows.

Background

DAG guarantees that valid analyses are enumerable and navigable at the representation level, but the authors distinguish this formal guarantee from the practical usability of displaying and navigating the resulting graph. As the schema and knowledge graph grow, the number of derivable claims can increase rapidly.

The paper therefore leaves unresolved the scale at which presenting one legal step at a time is no longer sufficient for a person to understand and use the graph effectively. This problem concerns the system's practical scalability and human legibility rather than the correctness of its grammar.

The number of derivable claims grows quickly with the size of the schema and the richness of the knowledge graph, and while the interface offers one legal step at a time rather than the whole space at once, we have not established at what scale the graph stops being legible to a person.
