Compact CT2 spaces and CT4

Determine whether every compact CT2-space is CT4.

Background

The paper exhibits compact spaces that are not CT2 and proves that every CT4-space is countably compact. It does not establish whether compactness together with CT2 is sufficient for the stronger CT4 property, and therefore explicitly poses this implication as an open problem.
