Abstract: The role of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with digital transformation strategies have become an important aspect of modern businesses to stay competitive in the fast-paced digital landscape. ERP modernization refers to the process of updating an organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to take advantage of the latest technological advancements and features. This article aims to provide insights into the role of ERP modernization in digital transformation and its impact on organizations. In particular, the article focuses on the PeopleSoft ERP system and its capabilities to support digital transformation initiatives.
