Two-point evolution equations for incompressible variable density turbulence
Published 4 Nov 2020 in physics.flu-dyn | (2011.03345v1)
Abstract: A derivation of the "exact" two-point equations analogous to those used as a basis for one-point Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes turbulence model for variable density, incompressible turbulence. The purpose is to present the statistical correlations that must be dealt with to yield a two-point, or alternatively, a spectral model of variable density turbulence.
