Regularity from containing a regular pseudo-oval

Determine whether an even-characteristic pseudo-ovoid in PG(4n − 1, q) that contains a regular pseudo-oval must itself be regular.

Background

The paper proves that, for even q, a pseudo-ovoid containing a pseudo-conic is a pseudo-quadric, and pseudo-quadrics are regular. It then asks whether the weaker hypothesis of containing a regular pseudo-oval is already sufficient to force regularity of the entire pseudo-ovoid.
