Persistence of supersymmetric positivity patterns at higher points

Determine whether the positivity pattern proposed for four-point interactions in N=1 supersymmetric theories persists for higher-point processes, taking into account the sensitivity of the result to the construction of the operator basis.

Background

The paper establishes positivity constraints and supersymmetric Ward-identity relations for massless four-point amplitudes in N=1 supersymmetric theories. At four points, the number of supersymmetric constraints is sufficient to fix the structure of the component amplitudes and relate their Wilson coefficients.

For higher-point processes, the authors state that there are insufficient equations to determine all component sub-amplitudes. Although higher-point positivity has been studied in non-supersymmetric theories, it remains unresolved whether the four-point pattern identified in this work continues to hold in the supersymmetric setting. The authors emphasize that resolving the issue depends sensitively on how the higher-point operator basis is constructed and leave it for future research.

References

For higher-point processes, this balance no longer holds, as there are insufficient equations to fully determine all sub-amplitudes. Nevertheless, higher-point positivity has been explored in non-supersymmetric theories , and whether the pattern proposed in this paper persists depends sensitively on the construction of the operator basis. This question is beyond the scope of the present work and will be addressed in future research.
