Determine the effect of IMPACT’s W8A8 int8 quantization path on simulation success and performance on the long-horizon manipulation task.

Background

The paper evaluates IMPACT’s int8 path on the SO-101 multi-task benchmark and reports improved CPU action-supply rates after thermal soaking. It does not evaluate the quantized policy on the LIBERO simulation tasks or on the long-horizon task, so its task-level consequences in those settings remain unresolved.
