Determine the origin of the unidentified features near 9500 Å

Identify the spectral features near 9500 Å reported in Sakurai’s object and determine whether they arise from carbon transitions or instead from CN emission.

The study extends its spectral calculations to 9500 Å to investigate features previously reported in Sakurai’s object. The models do not reproduce the reported transitions, leaving their physical identification unresolved. The authors specifically raise CN as an alternative origin.
