Higher-Codimension Contact Billiards

Determine the new dynamical and geometric phenomena arising from the outer contact billiard correspondence for submanifolds of codimension greater than one.

Background

The construction naturally extends from hypersurfaces to higher-codimension submanifolds, but a tangent space then determines a family of characteristic lines rather than a unique line. The resulting correspondence and its dynamics have not been analyzed.
