Finite lattice spacing effects on Gribov-copy sensitivity

Ascertain the impact of finite lattice spacing (discretization) on the measured influence of Gribov copies on the quark propagator by repeating the analysis on finer lattices with matching volumes to verify whether discretization effects are insignificant at the lattice spacing used.

Background

The present analysis was performed on a single, coarse lattice. Past work on gluon and ghost propagators suggests discretization effects may be small at comparable lattice spacings, but this has not been verified for the quark propagator’s sensitivity to Gribov copies.

A controlled paper across lattice spacings and matched volumes is needed to confirm whether the conclusions drawn here are robust against discretization effects.

Another open question is finite lattice spacing effects, as this study was performed on a single, coarse lattice.
