Establish whether correction extends beyond categorical simplex outputs

Establish whether the S²D² correction operator can improve outputs whose elements are not categorical probability distributions on a simplex.

Background

The reported experiments evaluate the generative correction framework on two dense categorical tasks: 3D semantic scene completion and bird’s-eye-view semantic segmentation. The conclusion states that the available evidence does not establish applicability to other output types. Whether the correction mechanism extends to outputs outside the per-element categorical simplex therefore remains untested.

Whether the correction reaches any output that is a per-element categorical simplex is untested rather than shown (Appendix~H).
