Establish small performance differences between configurations

Establish whether performance differences smaller than approximately 10 percent between the evaluated remote-KV configurations are reproducible, given that each experimental condition was run only once.

Background

The evaluation reports one run for each experimental condition. Although the paper regards the largest effects as well outside expected run-to-run variation, it explicitly states that smaller differences—such as the comparison between the H3 and H4 configurations—are not established. Repeated measurements are therefore needed to determine whether these modest effects are real.

References

Single runs. Each condition was run once. The large effects ($124\times$ at p99, $6.3\times$ bandwidth, the unstable queue) are far outside run-to-run variation, but differences under about 10\% (for example H3 against H4) are not established.
