Establish whether an enlarged exceptional field theory realizes the omega-deformed supergravity
Determine whether an enlarged exceptional field theory, potentially of the form U(1)_omegatimes E7(7) exceptional field theory or a related generalized geometry, can contain the omega-deformed maximal supergravity as a consistent truncation and whether such a construction has relevance to string theory.

We leave for future work whether such a theory exists, or whether it has any relevance to string theory.
