Unresolved values for disjoint unions of cycle powers

Determine whether disjoint unions of powers of cycles satisfy the r-EKR property for values of r not covered by the established maximum-independent-set case.

Background

The survey describes results for disjoint unions of powers of cycles, including the case r = μ(G) when one component is a simple cycle and later results covering broader families and all values of r under additional hypotheses.

Before presenting these results, it explicitly states that the problem for other values of r remains open, thereby identifying an unresolved extension of the cycle-power theory.
