Composable e-values for the served exact tests

Construct composable e-values from the Fisher exact test, McNemar exact test, and cluster sign-flip permutation test, thereby providing an e-value foundation that can address dependence and optional stopping beyond the fixed-fraction mFDR analysis.

Background

The paper notes that e-values and e-processes could address several limitations of its current guarantee, including the unverified conditional super-uniformity assumption and the fixed-horizon scope of the mFDR theorem. However, the three exact mechanisms supported by Tacet do not yet have corresponding composable e-value constructions. The unresolved task is therefore mechanism-specific: convert each exact test into an e-value that composes under the relevant dependence and sequential-use conditions.
