Complete on-shell electroweak precision calculation

Complete the calculation of the five-dimensional Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model contributions to the electroweak oblique parameters using full Passarino–Veltman self-energies and on-shell renormalization.

Background

The paper estimates the oblique parameters S and T using leading one-loop expressions and effective decoupling functions for part of the spectrum, while incorporating the complete chargino and neutralino mixing matrices. This treatment is used to assess the magnitude and decoupling behavior of Kaluza–Klein effects rather than to provide a fully renormalized on-shell prediction.

A complete calculation with Passarino–Veltman self-energies and on-shell renormalization remains to be carried out. Such a calculation would provide a more precise electroweak-precision test of the five-dimensional Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model and could refine the inferred constraints on the compactification scale.

A complete calculation with Passarino-Veltman self-energies is left for future work.
