Closed-form prediction of peak sidelobe levels

Derive a simple closed-form expression relating the expected peak sidelobe level of a randomized satellite-swarm array to its physical parameters, extending statistical random-array models beyond average sidelobe statistics.

Background

The paper develops analytical expressions for average sidelobe statistics using a hard-core point-process model for randomized satellite locations. However, predicting the peak sidelobe level is substantially more difficult: existing statistical approaches model the peak-sidelobe distribution but do not provide a simple closed-form relation between the expected peak sidelobe level and physical array parameters. The authors therefore identify this analytical extension as unresolved.
