Equality of bridge index and braid index for L-space knots

Prove or disprove that the bridge index and braid index are equal for every L-space knot, without assuming that the knot is twist positive.

Background

For the knots constructed in the paper, twist positivity implies equality between braid index and bridge index. The cited conjecture seeks to remove the twist-positive hypothesis and establish this equality for all L-space knots. If true, it would support the expectation that no asymmetric L-space knot has bridge index 3, because asymmetric L-space knots are known to have braid index at least 4.

In fact, Krishna and Morton Conjecture 1.7 conjecture that for an L--space knot, the bridge index and braid index agree, even if the knot is not assumed to be twist positve.
