Extension of the quantum analysis to arbitrary gauge groups

Determine whether the one-loop divergence structure and perturbative Coulomb-branch dynamics found for three-dimensional $\mathfrak{su}(2)$ supersymmetric Galilean Yang–Mills extend to arbitrary non-Abelian gauge groups.

Background

The explicit one-loop calculations in the paper are restricted to the su(2)\mathfrak{su}(2) theory because component expansions and contractions become increasingly complicated for general Lie algebras.

The authors note that relativistic experience does not guarantee that the same divergence structure holds for every gauge group. A covariant formulation of Coulomb-branch perturbation theory would be needed to make the generalization tractable, particularly for large-NN applications.

References

It is also important to determine whether the structure of the theory found here extends to an arbitrary gauge group: while our experience with relativistic theories may make one assume this is the case, it is of course not guaranteed.
