Alternative tilings for Type 2 and Type 7 monotiles

Determine whether convex pentagonal monotiles in T_2 ∩ T_7 can generate tiling patterns other than the representative tilings of Types 2 and 7, and determine whether any such patterns necessarily require reflected tiles.

Background

Certain monotiles in the intersection T_2 ∩ T_7 satisfy additional angle-sum relations beyond the defining Type 7 conditions. They can generate the representative tilings of both Types 2 and 7, and both representative constructions use reflected tiles. The unresolved issue is whether these shapes admit other tiling patterns and, if so, whether reflections remain unavoidable.

References

However, it remains unclear whether they can generate other tiling patterns, and if so, whether such patterns would also require the use of reflected tiles.
