Quasinormal Modes and Topological Characteristics of a Schwarzschild Black Hole Surrounded by the Dehnen Type Dark Matter Halo

Published 5 Mar 2025 in gr-qc | (2503.03260v3)

Abstract: This study explores some properties of a black hole surrounded by a dark matter halo with a Dehnen-type density distribution. Specifically, we focus on the thermodynamic characteristics, shadow radius, quasinormal modes, and topological charge of thermodynamic potentials associated with this black hole. Notably, this black hole features an unstable photon sphere, which contributes to the formation of the black hole shadow.
