Dynamics of charged and magnetized particles around cylindrical black holes immersed in external magnetic field (2010.04969v1)
Abstract: This paper investigates the motion and acceleration of a particle that is electrically and magnetically charged, which rotates around a cylindrical black hole in the presence of an external asymptotically uniform magnetic field parallel to the z axis. Basically, the work considers the circular orbits of particles rotating around the central object and studies the dependence of the most internal stable circular orbits (ISCO) on the so-called magnetic coupling parameters, which are responsible for the interaction between the external magnetic field and magnetized and charged particles. It is also shown that the ISCO radius decreases with increasing magnetized parameter. Therefore, collisions of magnetized particles around a cylindrical black hole immersed in an external magnetic field were also studied, and it was shown that the magnetic field can act as a particle accelerator around non-rotating cylindrical black holes.
