Shackleton Crater at the Lunar South Pole
“Standing on the rim of Shackleton Crater at the lunar south pole. The crater interior plunges into permanent darkness in the foreground with water ice deposits glinting faintly, the rim is illuminated almost horizontally by the perpetually low Sun, a hypothetical solar tower stands at the rim, and Earth grazes the horizon.”
