# Intentionally Cultural Evaluation

Position papers additionally stress that evaluator positionality shapes what problems become legible, which benchmarks count as legitimate, and which local needs remain invisible; they call for stakeholder-centered and participatory evaluation capable of surfacing “unknown unknowns” that current benchmarks do not yet capture [2509.01301].
