The biggest gap is a missing idea. GPT-3.5’s five tips lean heavily on one move: guest posting, commenting on other blogs and joining communities are all versions of “go where other bloggers are,” and three of them end with the same phrase, “drive traffic.” It never mentions search engines, which for most blogs is the largest free source of readers. Astra’s third tip, “Optimize for search engines,” fills that hole with practical advice like answering “specific questions” and linking related articles together.

Astra is also more concrete elsewhere. It suggests posting “tips, quotes, or graphics” rather than just sharing links, and it adds a useful caution for forums and Reddit: share your blog “only when it’s genuinely helpful and allowed,” which can keep a new blogger from being banned as a spammer. GPT-3.5’s email tip muddles two ideas, asking “your email list or other bloggers” for links. Both answers follow the brief exactly at about the same length, but Astra’s five ideas cover more ground.

From December 2022 to March 2023, visitors to LearnGPT, the earlier version of Emergent Mind, shared ChatGPT conversations they found useful or funny. On October 19, 2026, each prompt went to GPT-6 Astra exactly as it was shared: one message, no system prompt, default reasoning effort. Claude Opus 5.5 wrote the analysis under each pair after reading both answers. Original answers appear as the people who shared them pasted them. A few examples are left out because they depended on missing context or weren't appropriate to republish.
