Create a list of five Chat GPT features that facilitate debugging.

Code analysis: Reviews code to identify potential syntax errors, logic flaws, and edge cases.
Error-message explanations: Interprets error messages and stack traces, explaining likely causes and possible fixes.
Debugging guidance: Suggests breakpoints, logging statements, and step-by-step checks to isolate a problem.
Test-case generation: Creates unit tests and boundary-case inputs to help reproduce bugs and verify fixes.
Code execution and analysis tools: When available, runs supported code—such as Python—to test hypotheses and inspect results. It cannot automatically access your local runtime, and suggested fixes should still be validated.
What changed
GPT-3.5 answered with confidence about a product that did not exist. Its list describes ChatGPT as if it were a developer toolkit, with a “Debugging Mode” that lets you “step through the code,” error messages pointing to “the specific line of code,” and heatmaps of input importance. None of these were ChatGPT features. It seems to have blended generic machine learning tooling into a plausible-sounding catalog, and a reader would have had no way to tell.
Astra reads the question the way most people mean it: how ChatGPT helps you debug your code. Every item is something it actually does: explaining stack traces, suggesting breakpoints and logging, writing tests to reproduce a bug, and running Python when available. Its one caveat, that it “cannot automatically access your local runtime,” is useful rather than defensive. The list is also half the length and easier to scan, though “Code analysis” and “Code execution and analysis tools” overlap a little.
